Camp Koolaree Declared a Jubilee Year in 2025

The Board of Directors at Camp Koolaree
made the difficult decision
to pause our usual summer camps last year
due to several logistical issues.

While this decision was not made lightly, we see this as an opportunity to reset, reconnect with our Koolaree community and allow the land to rest and recover after several years of major construction.

In Christian and Jewish traditions, every 50th year is a Jubilee year, during which debts are forgiven, people return home to their families, and the earth is left to rest. We’re embracing this summer as a season of reflection and reconnection. It’s a time to draw on the rich legacy of past years, nurture our community in new ways, and prepare for an even stronger future.

As the Board continues its development for Camp Koolaree, updates will be posted here. Please check back for current information.
