Help from Castlegar Rotary

Once again the Castlegar Rotarians have come through with a generous donation for Camp Koolaree. At their regular meeting on January 21 this year, club president, Stan Hadikin, officially presented a beautiful set of battery-powered tools to Ray Lundquist and Bill Furey, members of the camp’s board of directors. Bill, a Rotarian himself, was instrumental in getting this gift. He also presented a PowerPoint of Camp Koolaree photos showing the work done over the past couple of years to replace the floor and to install a nice solar power system for the Brick Shed.
The Ridgid 18 volt lithium-ion toolset includes; 7 ¼ in. circular saw, reciprocating saw, impact driver, 2-speed hammer drill, battery charger, two 4 Ah batteries, and a large carrying bag.
Many thanks to the Rotary club as this new equipment should prove very handy around the camp and in the newly renovated solar powered Brick Shed.
