We are looking for a motivated conscientious individual to assist the cook in meal preparation on-site throughout our 2023 summer camp season.

$17 per hour + room & board.

Qualifications:
●Food Safe Level 1 required
●First aid certification and/or previous cooking experience are assets
●Meets Canada Summer Jobs requirements

Duties:
● Cleaning stoves/counters
● sweeping the kitchen
● maintaining a relationship with the Cook that facilitates a smooth running of the Summer Program
● ensuring all government regulations regarding health and safety protocols around food preparation, handling and storage are being enforced
● ensuring that the kitchen equipment is in good usable condition
● assisting in cooking pre-planned meals decided by the director of each Camp
● shopping with the Caretakers or Cook and functioning within budget
● ensuring campers’ special dietary needs have been met and accounted for
● keeping a log book of daily tasks completed, hours worked and breaks taken

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour
