We owe a hearty thank-you to the youth delegates who attended the spring meeting of Kootenay Presbytery held at Castlegar United last month.  As a fund raiser, the kids were up at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning to make and serve a delicious waffle breakfast to the delegates.

 

Today was “Camping Sunday” and their leader, Kim Matson, handed me an envelope stuffed with $150.00 and said it was for Camp Koolaree with no strings attached.

 

The money was deposited with the church collection and our treasurer will forward a cheque to the Camp Koolaree treasurer when he gets the chance.

 

I am quite sure the money will be put to good use.

 

Those kids are special!
